| I’m
glad to be part of Swansea Regeneration which must be close to the heart of
all those born and bred in this ‘ugly lovely town’.Physical
change in Swansea is moving at great speed. Take trip to the marina, visit
SA1, note the number of long and short stay visitors. In
the middle of such major change, we as the Church must be equal to the challenge
that we face. We need to re examine our foundations to be sure that we move
forward in unity to meet the new demands. We
are redeemed through the Cross-work of our Lord Jesus Christ, looking to Him
as Saviour and seeking to follow Him as our example. Jesus
wept over, prayed for and longed for spiritual revival for His city. For our
own city, we need to be ‘Jesus people’ to bring His power and His love into
the very heart of it’s life. The
Triune God, living through His Body, The Church, is the only way we will effectively
impact our local society.
